Russian River Sanctuary

Escape to Serenity

Where nature, agriculture,

and education meet.

The Russian River Sanctuary is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and a working regenerative farm. Our core mission is education. We believe in farming in absolute harmony with the land, fostering biodiversity, and sharing that knowledge with our community.

What's on the horizon:

  • Nature & School Curriculums: Immersive educational field trips exploring our unique riparian corridor, local wildlife, and ecosystem restoration.

  • Corporate & Day Retreats: Curated team-building experiences centered around seasonal harvests, beekeeping, regenerative farming, and mindful connection to nature.

  • The Science of the Earth: Workshops deeply rooted in the chemistry of living soil, permaculture design, beekeeping, mushroom farming and solar biochar research.

  • Ethnobotany & Craft: Hands-on learning focused on willow cultivation, basketry, wild foraging, and creating artisanal farm goods like flower bouquets, natural salves, and hand-poured candles.

  • Nature, Art & Expression: Creative workshops designed to quiet the mind and capture the landscape through nature soundscapes, land art installations using natural materials, poetry, and aquarelle (watercolor) painting.

Your Sanctuary

A Brand Built on Authenticity and Innovation

We are not just selling farm wonders—we are creating a wild life sanctuary, a lifestyle, and an ethos that resonates with our members.

U-pick veggie and fruit experiences enriches the farm-to-cup process, providing a direct connection between our visitors and the food they consume. This multi-faceted approach creates a deeply authentic, community-driven brand that will build lasting loyalty.

Our sanctuary is also a place of learning, with a commitment to educating both children and adults. Through hands-on workshops, school field trips, and immersive experiences in sustainable farming, mushroom cultivation, and herbal medicine, we share our knowledge with the next generation of environmental stewards. Our wildlife and biotic preservation volunteer programs offer an avenue for local community involvement, allowing individuals to directly contribute to the sanctuary’s growth and the protection of the surrounding ecosystem.
